Visitors to https://www.moreyspiers.com/digital-wallet will follow a personalized marketing link or input an order ID and barcode combination, which once validated will prompt the guest to add a digital pass to their Apple or Google Wallet. Seasonal Passholders have the added ability to upload a personal photo for increased security, while any guests with stored value ticket cards can register them and view realtime balances directly on their mobile pass (made possible through push notification updates).
Morey’s Piers currently utilizes barcode scanners at all games and attractions, and guests can easily access passes directly from their lock screens when present at a pier. An upgrade will leverage NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to enable even faster redemption simply by tapping a device to a reader.
With a front end built in React and a backend powered by Node.js, the application is able to directly integrate with Morey’s data stores and marketing platforms to create a frictionless guest experience solution. (2023)
